Home Video Prize
In these unusual (isolation) times the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts announces a 2020 Home Video Prize.
It is an Prize to a talented young creative person (age 15-25) which will be conducted online.
Who is eligible for the Home Video Prize?
Any talented young creative person (age 15-25) who is committed to a career in the arts and has a connection to the Central Coast* NSW.
Is this Prize only for performing artists?
It is open to all young creative people. Your video can be as innovative as you like and show off your talents in any discipline not just your chosen arts career path. Think outside the box. Poets, painters, script writers let us hear from all of you.
How does someone make an application for the Home Video Prize?
By submitting a home-made video showing off your creative talents recorded between 1st April and the closing date of 31st August 2020
The video must be in MP4 format – please name the file with the Name of your Video
Submitted by either

A link to a cloud service such as Dropbox, Box or similar which will permit download of the Video with no password or other restriction.
YouTube, Vimeo, or similar published sites
are not acceptable
in terms of the condition that the video must have not been
published
Tips
The sooner you send you video application in the sooner you are up on BFA social media and have an opportunity to get views, shares and likes for the people’s choice Prize.
Short is better- make it entertaining and engaging.
You can remake something that has been earlier published on the web as long as it is different from the earlier version and made between 1st April and 31st August 2020.
What conditions apply?
The video must not have been previously published and not be on the internet (other than on BFA websites) until after the winner had been announced. You can share links from BFA social media sites.
It must be a video recorded between 1st April and 31st August 2020.
Your video must be shot and edited at home, with no commercial production allowed. Creativity and artistic talent, not production standards, will be the main criteria for judging.
The Home Video Terms and Conditions must be signed by you, or your parent/guardian if you our under 18 and emailed with your application. These terms give the BFA consent to publish your video on its YouTube Channel, Facebook, and other social media.

The 2020 Home Video Prize will be announced by John Bell AO OBE, the Chairman of the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts, at the Annual Awards Event at Wagstaffe Hall 15 November 2020.
