Min Ahn – Graeme Anderson Scholarship Min is an acoustic guitarist from Tumbi Umbi whose free-style fingerpicking has won him many awards across the Central Coast. Min’s grant will contribute to three years of his costs to study at Sydney Conservatorium.

Nick Geddes – Coles-Danziger Award. Nick is an opera singer from Bateau Bay. Nick’s grant will enable him to develop needed language skills   in German and Italian, and to attend short courses/workshops in acting and audition skills.

Madeline Bell - Maddy’s musical theatre, acting and dance talents have won her a string of awards. The grant will help her defray costs in going to the States for vocal and drama coaching, as well as to pursue further education in Australia.

Sebastien del Rosario-Hibbard - John Bell Award.  Sebastien from Erina Heights is a cellist who at a very young age established himself as Guest Principal Cellist for local and Sydney based orchestras. He will put the grant towards a higher quality cello…many thousands of dollars.

Jacinta Burley – ORiGiN Theatrical Award. Jacinta’s dream is to be a performing artist, not just on the stage, but in all phases of artistic creation. Her grant will get her one step closer to studying and performing in New York and Chicago.

Kim Gilbert – Kim, from Erina, is a pianist and prior grant recipient. Now in her 2nd year of studies at the Sydney Conservatorium, Kim wants to use the grant to travel to Europe and attend a summer school in any of four countries where she will meet and work with colleagues from all over the world.

Jake Cheong - Winner of many eisteddfod awards as well as past Foundation grants. Jake aspires to be a concert pianist and music professor. The grant will go towards further study and upgrading his baby grand piano.

Danielle Guyot – Bill Hayward Award. Danielle is a sculptor from Kariong, who wants to use her grant toward costs of continuing studies at NIDA, as well as purchasing materials (metals, woods, polymers, etc.) for her props and artworks. Danielle received a grant in 2018, when adjudicators saw serious potential in her artistry.

Jasper Duff – Visual artist from Killarney Vale, Jasper’s dream is to create a body of work representing New South Wales’ most diverse landscapes. His grant will go towards further education with the National Art School.

Lucas Hollands from Saratoga has always had a genuine passion for cinematography, storytelling and filmmaking, having already established a basic knowledge of the art.  He would use the grant to enrol in courses at NIDA and AFTRS to further his skills and qualifications and to meet people in the industry.

Amy Flannery – from North Gosford, is an emerging dancer, who has graduated from NAISDA and now wants to create her own work, choreography and composition and tell her people’s stories. Her grant will purchase equipment to make this possible.

Sophie Kelly – is a flautist from Wamberal who will use her grant towards the cost of a semi-professional piccolo costing $6000-$8000. Professional flautists often need to play piccolo as well as flute

Elissa Koppen – flautist from Killcare aspires to establish a concert season on the Central Coast, providing musicians opportunities and economic incentives to stay on the Coast, and providing a rich musical offering to the Coast community

Gab Paananen – Charrington-McBride Award. Gab from McMaster’s Beach is a puppet designer, engineer, maker and performer… and a very beautiful visual artist on paper. Previous grants have enabled her to have mentoring and work experience abroad.  This grant will allow her to study with two famous makers in Wisconsin, USA.

Polytra Liufalani – a singer-songwriter from Copacabana has been making her own music for as long as she can remember. Polytra will use her grant to purchase a home recording package that will allow her to record, produce and mix her own music.

Ella Sandemann - from Mount Elliot is a singer. Ella has developed a following through busking around the Central Coast. The grant award will be put towards singer-songwriter lessons, musicianship classes, and to upgrade some of her equipment.

Riley Lovell is a singer-songwriter from Davistown. Since receiving his first grant, Riley has performed with Coast Academy of Music, and with Youth in Performing Arts at Love Lanes Festival, with his own band and participating in the Open Talent Development Project.  He will use the grant to buy an electric guitar & amplifier.

Brad Tham – Lee Casey Memorial Award. Brad, a violinist from Springfield, will use his grant to further his musical education; save up for a better violin; and contribute to costs of music camps and tuition. He hopes to study performance and conducting and, later start and own an orchestra.

Amber Lynch – Bill Hayward Award and The Coles-Danziger Foundation Award. Amber is a contemporary dancer from St Hubert’s Island who has been studying at the National College of Dance, Newcastle. She has been offered a position at the Iwanson School of Contemporary Dance in Munich, Germany and will use her grant to offset travel and accommodation costs during the 3-year program.

Niamh Watson – a singer-songwriter from Narara has a string of awards for her performances and has achieved international recognition for three recent songs. The grant would enable Niamh to upgrade performance equipment and attend music industry mentorship opportunities.

Harry Moulston – ORiGiN Music Award. Harry is a singer-songwriter who has been achieving a real presence on Spotify with his band, Renwick. He will use the grant to upgrade his recording gear and some rhythm equipment for his drums.

Eliza Williams.  Dancer from Narara, Eliza is a past grantee, and has been studying in the Elite program at Conlan College. Her grant this year will go towards preparing to submit auditions via DVD to Australian and Overseas professional dance academies.

Lucy Parle – Singer-songwriter from Lisarow, Lucy plays the guitar, piano and mandolin, sings, and writes her own songs. A previous grantee, Lucy would use this grant to upgrade her speakers and her mixer. As she is now being hired by respected booking agents for paid gigs, it is especially important for her to have equipment that is state-of-the-art.
